exhibition Details

Celebrating 25 years of Gallery patrons' gifts, Partner Dance illustrates the significance of modern patronage. The exhibition reflects the sustained dialogue between Auckland Art Gallery's curators and our patrons, who have contributed an extensive holding of works for public enjoyment.

Climb up to level 2 to see painting, photography and sculpture by leading New Zealand artists. Including work by Richard Killeen, Julian Daspher, Bill Hammond, Gretchen Albrecht, Bill Culbert, Ani O'Neill, Andy Leleisiu'ao, Peter Robinson, Shane Cotton and others, Partner Dance illustrates not only the incredible richness of our patrons' gifts, but also key moments in New Zealand's contemporary art history.
