Find us just off Queen Street in Auckland's CBD – we’re a quick 15-minute walk from Britomart Transport Centre and the Ferry Building.

Ride up Queen Street on the City LINK bus or jump on the Outer LINK bus to travel to the Gallery along Wellesley Street.

Please note: Significant construction works as part of the City Rail Link project will see CBD bus routes and bus stops being diverted. To avoid disruption please plan your public transport journey in advance here.

Please note: From Sunday 1 March 2020 significant construction works, part of the City Rail Link project will cause road closures in the CBD.
Wellesley Street West, Mayoral Drive, and Albert Street intersection will close to all vehicles. Access to Mayoral Drive at the intersection will remain closed until 2024. Traffic diversions will in place for all vehicles. Mayoral Drive and Victoria Street will be used as alternatives. Access to carparks in the surrounding areas will be maintained. 

The closest public parking space is Auckland Transport's Victoria Street East car park

A mobility parking bay is located on Kitchener Street and disabled parking is also available at the car park mentioned above.

Hop on and off the Auckland Explorer Bus, which stops at The Civic nearby every 30 minutes.

Taxis can pick up and drop off from the loading bays on Kitchener Street.

You'll find bike racks directly opposite the Gallery's main entrance on Kitchener Street.
