Waiata Moana – Songs of the Sea with Maaka Pohatu

Event Details

Auckland Arts Festival’s Acts of Love programme brings Waiata Moana to the Gallery: songs that celebrate our oceans and waterways.

Maaka Pohatu is a singer, musician, actor and founding member of Modern Māori Quartet. He lends us his acoustic guitar and vocal skills to a set inspired by our love of the sea. Relaxed and casual, these performances share the warmth and welcome of Tāmaki Makaurau.

This event is presented by Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki in association with Auckland Arts Festival
