Sailing Land Rig with Te Toki Voyaging Trust

Event Details

Get hands-on with a waka sail, learning the art of raising and dropping sails on a land-based rig.

Practise under the mentorship of other rangatahi who have learnt before.

Using waka as a vehicle for youth development, Te Toki Voyaging Trust designs and delivers high-level educational programmes targeting our young people, creating strong, capable independent learners and leaders.

This event is presented by Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki in association with Auckland Arts Festival
