Celebrating the closing of Mary Quant Fashion Revolutionary, we are delighted to welcome The Madeleines a vintage vocal trio, who will transport you to a golden era of jazz, swinging sixties, and glamour.

This trio is made up of Shannon Evison, Hannah Rogers and Jess Rogers. These ladies have all worked internationally in musical theatre (West End, Hong Kong, Melbourne and International tours) however in the whirlwind of 2020, they returned to NZ and are now enjoying performing together on home soil.

With sophisticated harmonies and tight choreography, The Madeleines will take you to another era of timeless elegance.

What better way to celebrate the exhibition Mary Quant: Fashion Revolutionary than two iconic, groovy, cinematic classics that will transport you back to the swinging sixties!

Alongside a fully stocked bar, you can catch A Hard Day’s Night – a 1964 rock-and-roll romp following "a day in the life" of The Beatles as fame takes them by storm – and mystery thriller Blow-Up, by critically acclaimed director Michelangelo Antonioni, wherein a bored mod-photographer discovers he’s unknowingly captured a crime scene on film. This event will be located at The Hollywood in Avondale, New Zealand’s longest-running cinema palace.
