GRACE: A Prayer for Peace | Film Screening

6–8pm

event Details

Gallery Members are warmly invited to a special screening of the moving documentary GRACE: A Prayer For Peace about artist Dame Robin White (Ngāti Awa). There will be a Q&A after the film between White, filmmaker Dame Gaylene Preston, curator Sarah Farrar and the audience.

GRACE A Prayer for Peace brings together filmmaker Gaylene Preston and artist Robin White in an extraordinary collaboration. What begins as a conversation evolves into a cinematic path across Aotearoa, Kiribati and Japan, drawing rich connections between people, place and art. This creative exchange is anchored in White’s practice and worldview, with the film becoming a deeply felt exploration of how we live, what we value and what we choose to protect.

Tickets include a welcome drink. One ticket per Gallery Member; if your membership includes a guest pass, you can purchase an additional ticket for a friend.
