Explore art together with our free whānau activities!

Play one of our new Gallery Games to engage with art throughout our whole building, or check out our Art Bubbles and downloadable activities which you can enjoy from home. 

Children aged 5–15 with a registered HOP card can even travel free on the weekend with Auckland Transport, making your journey to the Gallery more convenient. For more information click here.

Be sure to check out the Gallery's Creative Learning Centre — an immersive, family-friendly space located on the mezzanine level. 

Art Bubbles

Get creative with our selection of Art Bubbles, including fun art activities that you can download and try with the whole family at home.

Gallery Games

Our Gallery Games and activities encourage fun, shared-learning experiences for families and groups with children at the Gallery.

There's lots to choose from with activities like writing, drawing, finding, discovering and even going on a scavenger hunt!

Gallery Games are free and available every day between 10am–4pm.

Download games below before your visit, or pick up the activities on the day. Ask at the information desk for more details.
