Outreach programmes

Our outreach team works offsite and around Auckland to bring the art and creativity to you – especially if it's difficult for you to come to us.

With a range of outreach programmes available, we're actively working with diverse Auckland communities to connect people to art and the Gallery. Get in touch to see how we might design a programme matched to the interests of your group.

Outreach sessions are available free of charge to community groups that operate as charitable trusts outside Auckland's CBD.

Art-making workshops

Connect with our collection of almost 17,000 artworks by exploring materials and experimenting with art-making techniques. Art-making workshops can be adapted for children, family groups, young people and adults.

Also check out our free Whānau Drop-in activities on Saturdays and Sundays.
