exhibition Details

A rare exhibition of archaelogical treasures from the period of the two most influential emperors in China, Qin Shihuang and Han Jingdi.

Two Emperors: China's ancient origins shows life size terracotta sculptures of an underground army from the two emperors' tombs and other treasures, to recreate the richness and splendour of this formative period in Chinese history.

The exhibition presents 280 artefacts illustrating some of the enduring elements of Chinese civilisation, which have survived for over two thousand years to the modern period. Two Emperors: China's ancient origins comes to Auckland from Perth and is the exhibition's only New Zealand stop. Exhibition organised by Praxis Exhibitions Australia.
