Sensational: Sight and Sound Installations

 —

exhibition Details

Increasing bombarded by synthetic sights, sounds and textures in our day-to-day lives, it is easy to get into the habit of selectively editing out sensual experiences, effectively pressing a metaphoric mute button on such distractions. Visual culture however, facilitiates awareness and seeks to stimulate the senses.

The very idea of seeing, hearing and feeling is explored in this exhibition through works that present a range of readings and experiences. They invite you to engage and become aware of your senses.
