exhibition Details
A collection exhibition that continues the social, political and artistic discussions explored in Art & the 60s from Tate Britain, Atlantic Crossing's images and text reflect a watershed period in Western Art and society that was both turbulent and exhilarating. Our responses to these works now, and to the modern world in flux, can be measured against the pivotal changes to art and society that took place in that volatile and creative period. By turns light-hearted and serious, Atlantic Crossing serves not only as a talking point, but also as a rare chance for the public to enjoy the depth of the Gallery's 1960s collection.
