Claudia Jowitt is an artist based in Tāmaki
Makaurau of Pākeha and iTaukei (Fijian)
heritage. She holds a MFA from Elam School of
Fine Arts, a BArtDes(Hons) and BVA from AUT
University and studied at Carnegie Mellon
University’s College of Fine Arts in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. Her first public solo exhibition
Uana / Carried by the Waves, is currently open
at The Dowse Art Museum till February 2026.

Ruth Minh Ha is a writer, curator and art enthusiast of Russian and Vietnamese heritage. After studying art history and Computer Science at the University of Auckland Waipapa Taumata Rau she was curatorial assistant at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, helping bring the major contemporary art exhibition Aotearoa Contemporary (2024) to life. In 2023 she was the recipient of the Michèle Whitecliffe Art Writing Prize. Her writing has been published by Art Toi, Art New Zealand and local galleries. Currently, Ruth works at Gus Fisher Gallery as the Irene Fisher assistant curator.
