Yoga and Art Immersion

 —  9–10am

event Details

Yoga explores the expansiveness of what it is to be human – mind, body, spirit – in a non-competitive practice that allows individuals their own unique inquiry into the fascinating enigma of life.

These hour-long Hatha yoga classes will include warm-up stretching, building to stronger poses, including flow balance and breath focus. Warming down will lead into breath practice, ending with a brief relaxation or meditation. Our practice and practice space is open to beginners as well as more experienced yogis aged 14 years and over.

Penny Hacking completed her advanced Hatha yoga teacher training through Ashram Yoga Auckland. She has completed mental health awareness training, holds a current First Aid Certificate and is a member of the New Zealand Registered Exercise Professionals (REPs) and Yoga New Zealand, the national registration body for yoga teachers. Penny is committed to learning through yoga and working with like-minded individuals to enhance a greater balance of physical, mental and emotional well-being and resilience.
