Paul Clark, Professor of Chinese and Director Research at University of Auckland's School of Cultures, Languages and Linguistics presents a free talk on Chinese films and their reflection of popular culture of the time.

Paul's talk will cover the Cultural Revolution of 1966–1976 through to contemporary Chinese youth culture following The Tiananmen Square protests of 1989.
