Project launch, discussion and screening
Artspace starts 2016’s programme with a significant reference to New Zealand's political history by celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Homosexual Law Reform Act. The Bill came into effect on 8 August 1986 decriminalising sexual relations between men aged 16 and over and providing anti-discrimination law protections for lesbians and gay men.
Join Artspace director Adnan Yildiz as he launches his curatorial project, The Bill. Paula Booker (Programme Developer, Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision) will also talk about the special screening programme.
