event Details
The Screen Programme of The University of Auckland presents the four best films from the recent Master of Arts in Screen Production programme. These films, three dramas and a documentary, have been made over the last two years. Each represents a year of intensive Post Graduate research by an individual student, and all have been nominated for the Geoff Evans Memorial Prize, sponsored by Images and Sound, which provides a substantial grant of post-production services to the winner. The films are challenging, emotional, and visually powerful, and deal with such diverse subjects as grief, unrequited love, coming of age, and gay rugby.
The filmmakers will attend to discuss their work.
