event Details

Auckland Writers Festival 2019 presents their Weekend Gallery Series including a diverse range of speakers hosting events across Sat 18–Sun 19 May.

This event has now sold out.

Museum collections manager Robert Vennell lives, breathes and, yep, eats the New Zealand forest. In his book The Meaning of Trees, a project inspired by his goal to munch his way through the forest, Vennell explores the history and use of native plants. He explains how plants carry the stories of our nation and identity.
