Samoan-English language tour for Samoan speakers

A guided tour in Samoan and English through contemporary Māori art, sculpture, installations and more. Explore the Māori creation narrative with works by Lisa Reihana, Ruben Paterson, Maureen Lander alongside Buck Nin and Cliff Whiting. Experience breathtaking video installations, detailed paintings, sculptural works and large-scale commissions, in this tour designed for Samoan language speakers. Following the tour, there will be a free live performance from the University of Auckland Samoan Students’ Association at 2.30pm in the North Atrium. This tour and live performance precedes Samoan Language Week Sunday 30 May – Saturday 5 June, 2021.

The tour will last 90 minutes and is limited to 15 people. Booking is essential.
