Pre-eminent collector and generous arts patron, Rob Gardiner founded the Chartwell Trust in the early 1970s, which has grown to a collection of more than 1600 works in 2017.
The trust is committed to the exploration of creativity through the medium of contemporary art along with a determination to enable access to the collection and to contemporary art on a wider basis.
