Resene Architecture & Design Film Festival: Mau
For all you design aficionados out there, we have the movie night of your dreams lined up on 12 May. As part of the Resene Architecture & Design Film Festival 2022, we are partnering with Rialto Cinemas Newmarket and Island Magazine to bring you a special screening of Mau (2021), directed by Benjamin & Jono Bergmann.
From Mecca to MoMA, from Guatemala to Coca Cola, this documentary explores the untold story of design visionary Bruce Mau. Revealing his unlikely rise in the creative world, and ever-optimistic push to tackle the world’s biggest problems with design, this first-ever, feature-length documentary tells the story of his incredible career and his most important project yet: his own life. Mau is a hopeful film that will make you rethink how you see the future.
This event will be held at Rialto Cinemas Newmarket and is proudly sponsored by Island Magazine.
Tickets include a pre-screening introduction, a take-home goodie bag and a glass of wine to enjoy alongside the film.
This event will proceed at Red with social distancing and facemasks mandatory. If you are unable to attend this event because you are in self-isolation (because you have tested positive for Covid-19 or you have been identified as a household contact) you are entitled to a full refund.
