Pollywood Pasifika Film twenty1

2–4pm

event Details

Twenty-one years later, Pollywood Pasifika Film remains the longest running event of its kind in the world! Pollywood Director, Craig Fasi, has proudly curated an exceptional and unique collection of the latest Polynesian short films from Aotearoa New Zealand and throughout the Pacific.

Seven films representing the Cook Islands, Samoa, Hawai’i and Aotearoa New Zealand make up 90 minutes of mythical, inspiring, curious, confrontational and honest stories shared via the enchanting gift of film.

Pollywood twenty1 will serve as a guide through grassroots and award-winning films and multi-media art. Several film directors will be in attendance to engage in a Q&A with the audience at the end of the screening, giving you true accounts of their creative paths.

Pollywood twenty1 welcomes all who want something more than the usual; something truly unique that will linger with you long after you have left the cinema.

Scheduled screenings will be limited, so you are encouraged to secure your tickets as soon as possible. This event is rated M (suitable for mature audiences) due to offensive language and drug use.
