As part of Architecture Week, Richard Francis-Jones, Chief Architect of the 2011 refurbishment of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, will reflect on the intersection of place and community in the Gallery’s design and in subsequent projects by fjmtstudio.

Bio 

Richard Francis-Jones is a highly awarded practising Australian architect. He is a graduate of Columbia University and the University of Sydney and has taught in many schools of architecture. He is a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects, an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He is Design Director of fjmtstudio and author of the book Truth and Lies in Architecture.
