event Details

Discover your inner artist, and learn how to paint by copying William Hodges’ Dusky Bay in New Zealand. Painted on a piece of pinewood sourced from Captain James Cook’s ship Resolution in 1773, this work is believed to be the first painting to be finished in New Zealand.

This painting workshop is a social event, where you will learn to paint step-by-step in a relaxed and fun way. No artistic background required! By the end of the session you will have a completed painting ready to hang on your wall.
