Pacific Dance On Screen is the film screening of the Pacific Dance Festival and 2018 is the inaugural programme. The team at Pacific Dance NZ, Pollywood Pasifika Film and Pacific Islanders in Film & Television (supported by the Auckland Art Gallery) have brought together a collection of Pacific dance inspired films – not all the films would fit into a traditional definition of a dance film but certainly have a love of dance at their core. This is a collection friends and family can gather intimately and enjoy this diverse selection of films presented in one place and around the theme of Pacific dance.
