Pacific Dance New Zealand Choreographic Lab

3 works, 3 emerging choreographers, 2 venues, 1 night only. The Pacific Dance Choreographic Lab selects three NZ-based Pacific Islands choreographers each year. These three choreographers then each create an original dance work, with artistic support and guidance from senior dance mentors along the way. 

This performance on Tue 13 Oct is a special opportunity for the public to view a showing of the final works created, in celebration of the 11th year of the choreograpic lab.  Make sure you stop by to see it during Late Night Art, part of Artweek Auckland. Showing at the Gallery’s North Atrium from 6pm. 

Plus, from 7pm you can watch another fantastic performance from Pacific Dance New Zealand — Viv Hosking-Auē & AUĒ Dance (originally programmed for the Central Public Library).
