Join us for a NZSL tour for Deaf visitors through 'Romancing the Collection', a love letter to the city’s public art collection.

This 90-minute tour will be led by Deaf artist Abbie Twiss with supporting interpretation by Platform Interpreting NZ. From portraits to Pop art this exhibition brings together contemporary and historical artworks from Aotearoa New Zealand and afar, inviting kōrero (discussion) and offering multiple ways of looking at and connecting with the artworks.

Bookings are essential and are limited to 15 places.

Twiss has worked as an artist, art teacher and interpreter in Melbourne and Aotearoa. A graduate of University of Auckland’s Elam School of Fine Arts, Twiss has regularly exhibited since 1994.  The tour is limited to 15 people, please book your ticket through the link.
