Preventive conservation isn't just for museums – it’s for all collectors. Auckland Art Gallery’s Painting Conservator Ingrid Ford and Paper Conservator Camilla Baskcomb will give a presentation on what to consider when collecting different art media, such as photography, painting, sculpture and prints, and how to best display and look after your collection in the context of your home.
Our conservators work to ensure the long-term preservation of the works of art in their care, and are available to undertake conservation treatments, research and consultations for works on paper, photographs and paintings. As members of the New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Materials (NZCCM) they abide by the NZCCM code of ethics. Click here to read more.
