Matariki Artist Talk with Brett Graham

In celebration of Matariki, The Māori New Year, join New Zealand artist Brett Graham (Tainui, Ngāti Korokī Kahukura), one of most talented sculptors of his generation as he discusses his art installation Tūrangawaewae in the exhibition, Living Portraits: Mata Raurangi. This work explores the prophetic tongi (sayings) of the second Māori King, Tāwhiao and presents insights into our nation’s rich history and proud heritage.
