Late Night Lego
6 – 8.30pm
What does your dream city look like? What might an ideal creative home space look like? Dive into design at this adults-only Late Night Lego at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki
Become an urban planner for the evening and enjoy a social night of creativity where you can enjoy a glass of wine and snacks in our cafe while you let your creativity run wild. Inspired by our current exhibition, Walls to Live Beside, Rooms to Own: The Chartwell Exhibition, experiment with elements of construction and ways of living to imagine new urban and domestic environments. There are over 900 million different ways of putting together six Lego bricks – how many different places can you imagine?
This event is drop-in only and recommended for visitors over 18 years old.
This event is part of Heart of the City's Art in the City. The city centre will come alive this Spring with over 100 installations, exhibitions, guided walks, murals, performances, talks, markets, and workshops from 7-16 October. Late Night Art will return on Thursday 13 October, from 5-9pm, with a programme of exhibitions, interactive art, light installations, markets, workshops and live performance.
