Painting conservator, Genevieve Silvester gives a short, illustrated talk on her special and very challenging research and conservation project, as part of her internship at Auckland Art Gallery, where she investigated the reasons for the severe deterioration of the important 1925 Frances Hodgkins painting Still Life: Anemones and Hyacinths that had occurred prior to its acquisition by the Gallery.
