Head of Elam Visual Arts, Creative Arts and Industries, University of Auckland Peter Shand is highly regarded for his research on contemporary creative practices, principally art and fashion design, and the inter-relationship of art and law, notably issues in copyright and cultural heritage. He holds a PhD in Art History (University of Auckland) and an LLM in Intellectual and Cultural Property Law (King’s College, London).
