event Details

Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a multi-day festival celebrated throughout Mexico and parts of Latin America that honours loved ones who have died.

Decorated altars (ofrendas) are made to celebrate their lives and to help guide their spirits back to the land of the living.

Come along to the Creative Learning Centre to learn more about the significance of this traditional celebration and create authentic Mexican crafts to add to our special altar at the Gallery.

This activity is for visitors of all ages. Please note, exhibition entry is not included in your event ticket - click here for exhibition tickets

The exhibition is organised by the Vergel Foundation and MondoMostre in collaboration with the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura.
