Join us on the opening weekend of Louise Bourgeois: In Private View for an introduction to iconic artist Louise Bourgeois.

Hear insights into the life of Louise Bourgeois and the works on display, which span 1945 to 2007.

Perfect for art lovers and the curious, this introductory talk offers an opportunity to discover the fierce imagination of one of modern art’s most unconventional voices.

The talk is free and no registration is required, but space is limited. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. We recommend booking ahead.

Natasha Conland is senior curator, global contemporary art at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. She has over 20 years’ experience developing exhibitions of contemporary art, and has written for a number of contemporary arts journals and catalogues in the Asia-Pacific region. She co-edited Reading Room, a peer-reviewed journal of contemporary art published annually by Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, 2006–18. She has a long interest in performance, art in public space and the dissemination of the historic avant-garde.
