Conservator's talk: Sarah Hillary on Lindauer

Learn more about Gottfried Lindauer’s painting technique from Principal Conservator Sarah Hillary. Her talk considers to what extent the artist relied on photography and how knowledge of technique can help in authentication.  Sarah will compare the artist’s work with the other famous painter of Māori, CF Goldie, and discuss what has been gained from the examination of Lindauer forgeries.
