11am–1pm

event Details

Join The Flower Project for a Christmas wreath-making workshop using dried flora and fauna that is guaranteed to last until Christmas Day. You’ll get to work with protea, banksia, wheat, twigs, pussy willow, craspedia, gypsophila, lavender, statice, eryngium, grape vine, berries, toi toi, dried berries, pine cones, and more.

Kathryn Fleming, founder and owner of The Flower Project, has a deep appreciation and respect for nature. Her career begun as an apprentice florist in her hometown in Surrey, England. In 2007 Kathryn moved to New Zealand and started providing simple wedding florals for friends from her ‘garage studio’.

Today, The Flower Project has flower stands at Farro stores, and delivers fresh flowers to your doorstep through their flower subscription service. With the Christmas flower wreath making workshop, Kathryn hopes to cultivate creativity and share her passion for flowers.

All materials, including flowers, will be included, and we'll welcome you in the Members Lounge with refreshments. This workshop suits all levels of experience; you will be guided to explore and experiment with materials in a relaxed and fun way.
