Te Tuhi's Senior Curator Bruce E. Phillips worked as an artist assistant to Ann Shelton on many of her film shoots in 2004 and 2005 while he worked at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery. Bruce will be joined by family members of Fred Butler whose eclectic collection of books form the inspiration for the photographs in Shelton’s series a library to scale.
