BOOKED OUT | ARTLAND Experience for Blind and Low Vision Visitors

11.45am—1pm

event Details

Blind and Low Vision visitors of all ages are invited to experience Artland, the installation by Do Ho Suh and his young daughters.

Starting with a welcome to the Artland concept by learning specialist Norah Wilson, visitors can sit together and sculpt their own bespoke creature to add to the collaborative sculpture or be guided to create one of Do Ho Suh’s imaginative creatures with helpful audio description by Nicola Owen from Audio Described Aotearoa.

Companions will be available to assist during the session. We will meet in the main foyer just inside the front door and make our way to Artland together. Come explore your creativity with us!

Spaces are limited to 30 people. Please RSVP by emailing ellie.lim@aucklandartgallery.com

Artland is supported by the Joyce Fisher Charitable Trust.
