An Imaginary Nature for 6–8 Year Olds

Taking inspiration from Maria Nepomuceno’s vibrant artwork Grande Boca (Big Mouth) 2013 in Space to Dream: Recent Art from South America, participants will explore various materials and joining techniques to create ‘imaginary nature’. Nepomuceno uses this term when talking about her practice. Fun, playful and imaginative are all ingredients we will use to create your own world or ‘thing’.
