Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 - Present is at Auckland Art Gallery from 10 November 2012 - 3 March 2013.
Organised by the Brooklyn Museum with guest curator Gail Buckland, the exhibition includes 173 works from more than 100 photographers, with many rare and never-before-exhibited images.
Photographers include Diane Arbus, Roberta Bayley, Henry Diltz, Godlis, Dennis Hopper, David LaChappelle, Annie Leibovitz, Linda McCartney and Albert Watson.
