Māngere Arts Centre – Ngā Tohu o Uenuku was designed to meet the needs of the culturally diverse and vibrant Māngere community.
Māngere Arts Centre – Ngā Tohu o Uenuku opened in October 2010. This purpose-built complex nurtures and presents the diversity of arts, crafts and cultural activities that underpin the unique character of Māngere, with a particular focus on Māori and Pacific visual and performing arts. The galleries have become known for their cutting-edge visual exhibitions of regional and national importance, while the theatre is a multi-purpose space used for a wide range of performances and events.
