Built in 2007 and located in the cultural hub of Pukekohe, Franklin Arts Centre consists of two galleries, a retail shop and a workshop.

The New Zealand Steel Gallery provides a professionally curated space which features the work of nationally and internationally known artists in exhibitions, each for a duration of six weeks. The Community Gallery offers a professional art space specifically for local artists - both emerging and experienced - and provides a platform for the sale of their work and the opportunity to develop an understanding of professional art practice. The workshop functions as a rentable space promoting creative activity through direct engagement.
