Archive Collection Detail
Writer Richard Wolfe (b 1948) is a regular contributor to New Zealand art magazines and has written several books on art and artists. In conducting his research, he frequently interviews artists and art writers. This archive consists of 82 audio cassette tapes recording conversations with 55 New Zealand artists and writers over a 20-year period from 1995-2014. In addition, there are accompanying transcriptions for the majority of the recordings. The selection includes the 2010 interviews Wolfe conducted with academics on the subject of Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland.
