Artwork Information
Ricky Swallow is one of the most significant contemporary Australian artists. He represented Australia at the 2005 Venice Biennial.
Using the brand recognisability of Apple Computers he transforms technology into a fairground-like meditation on death. Humour is always present in Swallow’s art, yet it is tempered by issues of human transformation. (Local Atlas, 2004)
