July activity: Catch a Rainbow, Make a Wish
The glass crystals on Reuben Paterson’s Guide Kaiārahi were chosen because they catch and bend light. The crystals throw beautiful rainbows of colour and light in different directions.
Explore the play crystals provided. Can you see a rainbow?
Decorate the star Hiwa-i-te-rangi, the wishing star of the Matariki cluster, with the colours of the rainbow. Make a wish for the new year on your star.
