Artwork Information
In 1970 Don and Judith Binney spent time in Veracruz in eastern Mexico. Every evening, great-tailed or Mexican grackles used to congregate in trees around their hotel. These birds are renowned for their raucous chorus. They will happily approach humans for food, and are thought to be highly entertaining by some, and a rowdy nuisance by others.
