Tunnard exhibited with the International Surrealist Exhibition in London in 1936. Holiday was one of 16 high quality poster prints produced by the Baynard Press, and the only print attributable to Tunnard. It combines lyrical forms moving through space with a sense of joyous celebration implying release from the tensions and hardships of the war.
