English Silver hallmarks stamped on the verso offer the following information:. 'IET': John Edward Terry and Co London 1829. Lion Passant : 925 sterling silver quality. leopards head in shield: London town mark 1821. 'm' lower case : date mark 1827. profile: duty mark of 1826 London.
