Archive Collection Detail
This archive consists of ephemera (flyers, invitations, press clippings, brochures) and catalogues from five Auckland galleries: Auckland Art Gallery, Auckland Society of Arts (ASA), Barry Lett Galleries, New Vision Gallery and RKS Art. Most of the material is from the 1960s to the 1980s and was collected by staff of the Central City Library, Auckland. Notices of exhibitions frequently have newspaper reviews attached to them. These comprehensive collections provide valuable exhibition programme overviews of the galleries represented.
