Join Fiona for a gentle and welcoming introduction to mindfulness meditation in Forever Tomorrow: Chinese Art Now.

Like the practices explored by artists Lu Pingyuan, Lin Ke and Lu Yang, mindful meditation approaches perception as a field of hidden forces, quiet revelations and continuous transformation.

This one-hour session is designed especially for people who are curious about meditation or just beginning their practice – even if you feel like you ‘can’t sit still’ or your mind is often busy.

Fiona will begin by introducing the foundations of mindfulness, sharing simple insights into what meditation is (and what it isn’t), and offering practical guidance on working with common challenges such as physical discomfort and a wandering mind.

The session will include a few gentle chair-based movements to warm up the body and prepare for sitting comfortably. From there, you’ll be guided into a calming mindfulness meditation, allowing you to experience moments of stillness, clarity and ease.

No previous meditation experience is required – just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

About Fiona Liu

Fiona Liu is the founder of Mindfully Yin Yoga School and a highly experienced yoga and mindfulness teacher with nearly two decades of teaching experience.

Her work is dedicated to helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves and cultivate awareness through mindful movement and meditation. Fiona has trained and mentored many yoga teachers and students over the years, and she is deeply passionate about making meditation accessible and approachable for everyone.

Fiona会首先介绍正念的基础知识,分享关于何为冥想(以及什么不是冥想)的简要认知,并就如何应对身体不适和心神不定等常见生活挑战提供实用的指导。

活动将包含一些轻度的、以座椅为辅助的热身,为舒适的坐姿做好准备。随后,你将在引导下进入一次平静的正念冥想,体验静谧、清晰与安适的时刻。

参与者无需具备过往的冥想经验,只需带着好奇和探索之心就可以了。

关于Fiona Liu

Fiona Liu是Mindfully Yin Yoga School 的创办者,也是一位经验丰富、拥有近二十年教学经验的瑜伽与正念导师。
