All are welcome to Pō Rewa, a special evening at the Gallery celebrating the creativity of rangatahi. Bring the whānau along for toi workshops, performances, music and student artwork on display.  

What to expect

• A first look at student photography work in our Kiritai exhibition   
• All evening, 7pm to 9:30pm: Music from DJ Nickalee, blending R&B, hip-hop and global sounds 
• 7pm to 9pm: Drop-in toi workshops making clay pendants, tukutuku and whakakai (adornments)  
• 8pm and 9pm: Unitec students perform Te  Ata Kura, choreographed by Louise Pōtiki Bryant 
• 8:30pm: Fashion hīkoi from Samsara Jade and Charli Nikora, with Bachelor of Sustainable Fashion Design students at Whitecliffe  
• And more including music, spoken word, and moving image from local rangatahi
